While hosting a growing number of beehives, cities are becoming sanctuaries for domestic bees, which are being badly treated by intensive agriculture. To such an extent that this phenomenon, often organized without control, ends up paradoxically threatening biodiversity. Like a symbol of our time, caught between a desire for unrestrained consumption and an increasingly strong ecological conscience. The film follows the journey of Hélène, a student beekeeper. Each step of her apprenticeship will be enlightened by interventions of specialists (ecologists, beekeepers, researchers), and playful, educational, and poetic immersions in the world of bees, throughout the seasons.
