The seafarers from Etaples

Documentary

Étaples, a traditional fishing port located at the mouth of the Canche River. Over the years, from the 1940s to the present, the spirit of the people of this village has been forged around the values of solidarity. The film focuses on the town’s necessary and difficult reflections about the future, which will either allow France’s premiere traditional fishing fleet to survive or see the fishermen become Europe’s first victims of the ecological catastrophes that, according to the international scientific community expert in piscatorial matters, are just around the corner.
