Through the emblematic lawsuit of the ex-workers of the Goodyear factory against the multinational company which dismissed them, the film makes the anatomy of a social, human disaster which represents the closure of this industrial site.
Carried by two charismatic characters, the lawyer Fiodor Rilov and the trade unionist Michaël Wamen, by the testimony of ex-factory workers, political figures and experts, it deciphers the cogs of a social plan and gives the keys to understand a scenario that is repeated in France at each plant closure.
