One sea for all

Documentary

The English Channel and North Sea have become a major crossing point for refugees.  Ammar left Iraq 10 years ago to start a new life in Europe. Like so many others, his Mediterranean crossing turned out to be chaotic. Today, at 40 years old, he lives and works in Dunkirk. One day, he goes to the Dunkirk rescue station because he wants to become a lifeguard at sea.

Between an immersive present captured in live action and an introspective past revealed through animated sequences, we will dive into this intimate epic alongside him.
